Go from sinner to saint:

Sinner to saint takes total will power and determination, but more importantly a love for Jesus. In order to go from sinner to saint you must repent and turn your life around.

No man can enter the gates of heaven unless they go through Christ. The scriptures boldly tells us so. Note these words from Jesus; Jesus said to him, “I am the way, He is the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6) In order to go from sinner to saint Christ must be first in your life.

Accepting Christ:

Whe:n accepting Christ into your life one must repent from their sinful ways, put away childish acts, turn from their wicked ways and sin no more. You must not forget to assemble yourself with the household of faith.

One must also study to show themselves approved rightfully dividing the word of God. Separation from the things of this world is essential in keeping a wholesome relationship with God our Father. Do not conform to the things of this present world.

Unless you are born again, you will not see the kingdom of God.(John 3:3) The scriptures tells us we must be born again which means accepting Christ into our lives and being baptized in Jesus name.

God allows us free will, with hopes we will give our lives to Him. Many have denied Jesus but have turned their lives around, and many are still presently seeking the ways of ungodliness. Many believe that they are okay as long as they are kind to others or occasionally do a good deed from time to time. Nothing could be further from the truth. The word of God lets us know this in

James 4:17

So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

The Bible, however, clearly teaches that even our best attempts at being good fall short of God’s standard. Righteousness or holiness will aid you in going from sinner to saint.

Romans 3:12 says, “There is no one who does what is good.” Romans 3:23 says that all of have “sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” In short, even the best person among us will fall short of what God expects. His standard is complete obedience and no one has ever met that standard except Jesus. The scriptures let us know that no good thing dwelleth in us, but we are to focus on doing what is right.

You may be thinking to yourself, “Wait a minute! This seems to be a bit extreme. I have done so many good things and kept most of God’s commandments in the Bible! I’ve never hurt anyone. I’m not perfect but I’m certainly better than most people.”

Encourage Yourself: James 2:10 says, “For the people who keep all of my laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God’s laws.” Just one act of disobedience in a good life, is the only thing to be found guilty and worthy of punishment in the eyes of God.

Give your life to Christ today, know that He is good and His mercy endureth forever and forever.
