It is amazing when we go through trials and tribulations we feel like it is the worst ever. That no one can possibly understand what it is we are experiencing. That fate has dealt us a terrible hand and if not for the grace of God we will never get through this struggle. I am here to inform you that God is able to do exceedingly above all that we can ask or think.
I know, you woke up and you had an argument with that special someone. The dog chewed your new shoes. You were late tonwork, only to find that were being terminated, so you should have just stayed home. Only to be in an accident on that long drive home with an idiot who was on his cell phone, who had no insurance. After sorting out the matters from the accident, you realize you need gas, and find out that your debit card is declined. Because this great person you deem as Mr. Wonderful purchased a set of Jet ski’s without your mutual consent.
The phone suddenly rings but you only answer it because it’s your doctor’s office calling to tell you, the results are back from your pep smear and it’s positive. So they need to schedule an appointment with you as soon as possible, which really begin to alarm you. As if thing couldn’t get worse, you call your sister and she tells you son was caught stealing from Walmart and was taking to jail. As well as she and her husband separated two nights prior. You only share with her about the job and decide to keep the rest of the news to yourself.
You make the conversation short because of fear of crying, as to keep her from prying further into your personal life, before willing to share with her. Because your goal is to be strong as much as it be possible. Keeping the faith that God will deliver you out of it all.
As you venture home on your quarter of a tank home, a song comes on the radio. A song to the most Holy One, recognizing God for who He is. A song that pulls at your heart strings. There is nothing else for you to do but cry. You have nothing left, your inner most being has been shredded to pieces today, and you have nothing left to give. Your cup is full.
You look to God, for He is your help in the time of trouble. Through the storm and the rain, God is there, just for you. You cry like a baby, as if there is no hope. But God, our Savior, our redeemer, our hope is ever present in the midst of your hurt and pain. Just waiting for you to cry out to Him.
ENCOURAGE YOURSELF: Oh thou great Jehovah where art thou? Is your cry! The scriptures tells us we will endure some things in our Christian journey. Just as Job endured in his life concerning health, wealth and death, so will we. Job’s faith and love for God was deeply rooted and he knew God will make the terrible things in his life better. He never gave up, he never gave in, and even when told to curse God, he refused.
Job endured the test of time, he made it through the trials and tribulations set before him. As a matter of fact God asked satan had he considered His servant Job. God had faith in Job’s love and will to endure and do what was good and righteous at all times. Put your trust in God, He will never fail you.
God sees your pain, loniness, suffering, your agony, the betrayal, the lies and deceit, He sees the attempts to do better. He is ever knowing, and sees all. Square your shoulders, set your face as flint, and hold your head up high for God will fight your battle if you live right. Never forget He loves you with an everlasting love.
Can God trust you to do what is right?
