Success with God

What the Bible teaches about true success

Attracting success is a matter of the application of spiritual principles, which when activated by our decisions, produces the desired effect. These spiritual principles were given to us by Almighty God. They are written in His Word, the Bible, and are available for all who desire to learn them. It is the Will of God that we prosper and be in health and that we live and enjoy the good life. The GOOD LIFE is a life without sickness, disease, poverty, misery, or hopelessness. As a matter of fact, if you have no hope beyond this life, then, regardless of the amount of money you may possess, you are still not living in the fullness of the God life. If we only have hope in this world alone, then we will find ourselves miserable, suffering and utterly terrified in the next.

I do not say these things to scare you. Rather, I believe that if we desire to live a truly successful life, we must put things in proper perspective, according to the Scriptures (the Bible) and realize that life is about balance. Success belongs to you and I. But success is not true success if our prosperity is only attained in the area of riches. Please do not misunderstand me. I believe that we should prosper in every way, including financially.

But what I am referring to is the fact that REAL BIBLE PROSPERITY is much more than just money, even though it included money.

We are spirit, soul and body. We are a tri-part creation of a Truine God. God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are spirit, soul and body. And when God speaks of prosperity in His Word, the Bible, for His children, all of these areas must be included or we are lacking true success. (1 Thessalonians 5:23)

What good is it for a person to attain wealth, but not be able to really enjoy it because of a sickness or disease racking his or her body? What good is being successful on this side of life, only to discover in the next life that we did not have a relationship with Almighty God our Creator, so our eternal fate is separation from Him, in a place that few like to talk about, but it is real nonetheless? The Bible teaches that there is a Heaven to gain and a hell to shun.

Almost everyone is speaking about Heaven. None many speak of a place of eternal punishment for the wicked. And it appears as if some are of the opinion that all will go the Heaven. But the Bible teaches differently.

The reason for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was to provide a way for us to prosper spiritually, by being born again, washed in His blood from our sins, and given a right-standing with Almighty God, so that we can rest assured that we will not end up separated from God in eternity. He also paid the price, through His death, burial and resurrection so that we could have and enjoy a prosperous life filled with health, joy, peace and, yes, financial abundance as well. All of these provisions are in His Word and available by applying His principles to our lives which guarantee the things we desire and need.

However, don’t be doped into thinking that success is only the gaining of wealth. Gain riches, yes. But ensure that your eternal standing with God is intact.

ENCOURAGE YOURSELF: To do this, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing that He is the Son of God, Who came in the flesh, died for our sins and arose from the dead. (Romans 10:9-10, John 14:6) My favorite scripture, Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10
