You Don’t Have To Worry

Many years ago my life was in an upheaval. I cried and I cried, I heard this song by Kirk Franklin and the words went like this.

You don’t have to worry
And don’t you be afraid
Joy comes in the morning
Troubles they don’t last always
For there’s a friend in Jesus
Who will wipe your tears away
And if your heart is broken
Just lift your hands and say
Oh, I know that I can make it
I know that I can stand
No matter what may come my way
My life is in your hands

Kirk Franklin is an awesome song writer, composer, so the words really touched my heart, my soul. Along with my belief in GOD, I knew I would be okay. It lifted me as I played it over and over again.

  1. Today I really need the blood of Jesus. Today I appreciate the power of His precious blood and what it has done, can do, and continues to do for me right now.

I grew up hearing this hymn based on Rev.7:14.

“Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing pow’r?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
    Refrain:
Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you walking daily by the Savior’s side?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
When the Bridegroom cometh will your robes be white?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin,
    And be washed in the blood of the Lamb;
There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,
Oh, be washed in the blood of the Lamb!”
